Billy Butler got his 100th hit on 7/29. He hasn't seen as many at bats in his second season, serving mostly as a utility guy at multiple positions, however his average is 19 points higher than his rookie season and he is striking out less. We are likely to see him play every day as the Houston rebuild unfolds. By the time the 10 year plan unfolds, Butler will be the veteran on the team. However, he isn't old yet. Right now he is basking in the glow of an accomplishment that most 21 year old young adults are only dreaming about.
