August Need For Speed Report AL

Derek Jeter absolutely couldn't be stopped during the last month.  He swiped 22 bases to move into a tie with Willie Taveras with 73 stolen bases.  Taveras opened the door for Jeter by "only" stealing 18 bases since our last report.  This race is going to be amazing but it appears to be at the cost of the rest of the list.  Rollins is closes to the leaders with 65.  He stole 15 bases last month and still finds himself 3 more bases off the leaders.  Furcal replaces Seattle's Becker at the bottom of the list, otherwise the top 10 remains unchanged.  The story here can Jeter and Taveras push each other to the record?

Through 101 or 62% of the games Jeter and Taveras have stolen bases 72% of the time.  This puts them on pace for 116 SBs.  This is going to be fun!

Special Update Chasing Chippers 112: After the sim that leaves us at 8/16 Jeter takes a 1 base lead with 78 through 119 games. He has stolen a base in 65.5% of games. Currently he is on pace for 106. Looking for a burst out of him or Willie T in the next sim to get back on pace.
