Hey Chris, let me know when the new league starts and maybe give me a heads up on which GM's are heading there. Thanks. Quit or stay. These types of "threats" are pretty obnoxious too. Its ot like youre rising above the other behavior here with this type of stuff.
If ypou don like what people say ignore it. Shit I think 90% of what Steve says is nonsense lol.
I do agree with him here tho!

Carpenter was miserable for the last 2 years he was here. He made his enjoyment non existent. He huffed and puffed and quit. You make your own fun here. If youre gonna wait on other people to make sure youre enjoying yourself youll be SOL>

Here’s an idea, maybe quit being an asshole and then it’s more enjoyable for everyone. I guess there’s just so few guys playing ootp5 that all that’s left is asshole trolls. |

There is an ignore feature. If you have issues with someone use it. I realize that, but should that really be necessary in an online sim league? He questioned my methods. That was fine. I responded with my mindset. That should have been the end of it. But it never is. Is there a reason we can't treat each other normal? Is being online just too much for some of you to where you automatically become keyboard cowboys and have to turn in to trolls? Is it REALLY that difficult? It's not just "talking shit to each other", which is fine. It's basically intimating that I'm a bad GM, that your way is the only right way, and that anyone who thinks or does otherwise is stupid. It is WHY NYY left. It's why St. L left. Do you really want to keep chasing GM's off in an online league of a version where there arent that many guys playing it just so you can act like a juvenile clown? Is that what we're doing here? What happens when everyone who gets sick of the bullshit leaves? Then what? Run a league of 10 teams? Everyone gets two teams? You can all trade to each other. It will be like playing video games on easy. That sounds super entertaining. |

Stool made a comment I found funny and I chimed in. Mark made another comment that made no sense really, so I chimed in. Then that irrelevant Dodgers GM and you came back again. You didn’t have to respond, but you wanted to engage in full by name calling at that point. Blame yourself, buddy. I never name called, I strictly made observations of decisions that seemed questionable. Go look at all the names you called, then look at mine where you won’t find any in this exchange. You then chased me in another thread by, you guessed it, name calling! You’re the one that looks awful here, but you’ll never admit your temper tantrum. |

I appreciate everyone in this league and the 10 years of friendship formed. I know we don’t always get a long but this game and the love of baseball keeps us coming back. I appreciate the effort brian and Chris put into this for us to enjoy

We all have different ways of running our teams but if I see a bad trade in my eyes, I will most of the time comment. No hard feelings towards anyone. Its my thing, I comment on trades. When I first joined this league and made a few "bad trades" and GMs commented on them, Where were you guys at to defend me(the new gm)? They could've chased me off but lucky for me, I don't take trade comments seriously. Regarding NYY, he was a farm systems for certain gms in this league. If GMs really cared for the guy, why did they keep taking advantage of him, why didn't someone try to talk to him and help him out? I tried to talk trade with him a few times, he was never responsive but then he turns around and gets bent over for one of his good players. This was a constant occurrence here. I get its his team but someone constantly making bad trades isn't good for the league. The guys who kept taking advantage of him should be ashamed of themselves because they are part of the reason he got "chased off" as well. No one did shit to STL. It seems like he was mad that no one would overpay for his mediocre ass players. |
