Ms Cleo’s 2008 predictions the NL
Well honeys it has been a full season since we last chatted, and Ms Cleo was right about so much, other than the Phillies. They ended up being stank, not this seasons version of Pittsburg stank, or any where near, but still. The pirates could not even be un stank ti fied if they invested in a few cases of Summers Eve.
The Phillies rebound from last years stankyness and win at least 105 games. They will be in the playoffs. It is not clear though if they knock off the Braves for the East crown, as the Braves will also win at least 105 games. Both teams reach the post season coming from the East.
Over in the Central, the new look Pirates stink and are stank. So stank even wild dogs wont go near them. Right now the Brew crew looks like they are gonna run away with the division, but that is all illusions as it will be the Cubs that once again reign over in the Central.
Out west the DBacks started slow, however they will pile it on and win over 110 games. This squad is one of the best in the majors and end of day will be competing for the trophy at the end of the season. The Giants are making some noise now, but cannot sustain it and will end up in fifth place in the legue, missing out on October.
