First and foremost I'll be moving Jim Brosnan this off-season, so if you need a top flight closer/reliever, he's your guy.
Jim Brosnan-85 saves over the last 5 years, 2 straight sub 4 era's, cheap contract.
Frank Lary-Great ratings, pitched well in my bullpen last year, cheap contract.
Curt Barclay-Not SUPER motivated to move him but could in the right deal. One talent bump away from being a dominant starter. Pitched decent as my 4th/swingman.
Carl Furillo-38 years old, bad contract, killed lefties. Only one year left in deal. I'm OK keeping him, as of now I plan to platoon him with Leon Wagner, but if someone wants to take the contract off my hands I wouldn't fight them.
Pete Runnels-32 year old shortstop, on base machine, signed to a club friendly deal. Kind of my Amaro insurance, but he's available.
People I'm CONSIDERING moving:
Ernie Banks-Kills me to do it, but I'm deep with young bats and have given thought to it.
George Altman-Debating how he fits in with me long term. May consider moving him in the right deal.
Lenny Green-Doubles/On-Base machine, good top of the order guy. Fills a role for me right now but at some point will get squeezed out.
Tom Cheney-Would probably need to be somewhat overwhelmed, but I have the depth to overcome the loss. Still only 25, projects as a #2, has already had two very good seasons.
Mike Garcia-Same as above. Has anybody won more games in this league since 53 than Garcia? Just keeps winning. Won 19 last year. Not actively looking, but possible in the right deal. I've got young guys chomping at the bit.
Looking to rebuild my farm system obviously. Points and draft picks are also good. Would love a young good defensive CF with either pop or speed or both. Focusing on bats and A/AA level starting pitching.
