LAD sends David Ortiz Brian Roberts 50 points Colorado sends Vernon Wells Abercrombie Phil first this year Good easy dealing. Hopefully good use of wells 20 mil since I wanted to improve and be cautious of $. Fill second base and love the idea of having ichiro and big papi even if they are old. Accept - gilbertlaurie |

I have prospects ready to come up and I’m trying to get a little younger.
San Fran and now Colorado has too good of a squads for me to realistically compete right now. I’ll have to wait my turn.

Trading his outfield for an older first basemen and roberts makes no sense.
Roberts doesn’t really have the value of Abercrombie
Bad deal IMO

Should’ve waited until FA to try to fill the 2B position or gave me a 3rd for Atkinson who isn’t much different from Roberts.
