Rockies send Aramis Rameriez Freddie Freeman 2011 Colorado first round pick (11)
Marlins send David Wright
Accept- fav player of all time in his prime. I’m sure some won’t love the value but I’ll have fun learning the game till we restart. LFGM

It's interesting, but I think Freeman and Wright are ultra close. Wright has the advantage of much better speed, a notch above in walks, and plays at a more premium position (tougher to fill). Freeman is 7 years younger and cost controlled. I'm not sure that warrants pick 11 going, but Braz gets his guy.
Good luck boys.

I think a later first would have been even but it’s not an awful overpay

Eduardo was strong arming me saying Dwright was completely untouchable since I joined. Had to get him to jump. Pure happiness play

The only worry with a guy that much younger than Wright is by the time Freeman is 28 he might be way better than Wright

Freeman has been a hot potato. He hasn’t stayed in anyone’s hands very long.
