I like my team heading into next season and my finances are still in good shape. Now if everyone will stop bailing out San Fran with Cash and Points... you always have one final offer to go nuclear, my suggestion would have walked to the edge, as you last offer was only 5 mil, you could have tried 10, then 15 mil etc. slowly getting impatient usually implies 2-3 more tries. |

I understand how the games works. I decided it would be best for my organization to pay him 20 million for 2 years. Same reason I traded you McGriff. I wasn’t interested in giving him 12 million until he is 38 years old and spending points to continually fix his ratings. |

gotya. and yeah resigning McGriff was painful, but after bringing in Devereaux thought this might be the best team I ever had offensively, and still had the 3 stud pitchers, so... decided to go all in.
