P. Van Wiener WTCG ATL Could this actually be a thing, a team with a record of just over 500 leading the NL East? Since opening day Atlanta has been the town of the "I think I can" players, however reality is starting to set in and the team is showing just how good they really are, however no other team in the division is above 500 so alone in first they remain. This is really odd considering the Philies on paper are way way way better than anyone else in the division. With the starting rotation falling apart, and really down to Dobson and occasionally Zachary showing up to play, brianh brought D Morris back to town, and after getting back into rhythm became the NL player of the week, but is it enough, and was it a wise trade? Can they do it, will they be able to close out the season limping into the playoffs? Or will their house that they have built of straw fall victim to what lies in wait

I agree 100% about the Phillies. I expected them to lead the way this season in the east, but their areas of concern (lack of rotation and bullpen depth in particular) have clearly hurt them pretty badly. Not to mention that team has not had good leadership since the Gurs left a couple real life years ago. But if Chris' friend who runs the Phillies ends up making a few key additions, they'll be fine.
You and them should be battling it out during my rebuild. As for the Expos, I honestly don't know what direction they're going in.

It's really not chris's friends fault, he was handed a 2 face monster, while he has pitching and offense, the key players are horrible on defense. Even the game is saying he is getting screwed, he's -8 on pyt.rec.
the NYM could have easily won the div this year...

Huh? He's 20th in offense and his defensive range is pretty strong across the board.
