Welcome baseball fans as we break down the off season races and the state of the league. In the AL right now all eyes are on the wild card as 2 of the 3 divisions are seemingly wrapped up and the East, Boston is starting to pull away. Without a trade Baltimore is mired in mediocrity for their 4 and 5 starter, even though their hitting is RED HOT leading the league in HRs, walks and 2nd in scoring. Where the real fun is the wildcard, 3 teams separated by 3 games, and since Milwaukee's trade to get Rubi, they have been ON FIRE going 16-7 (.696) and 7-2 against the likes of CHA, BOS and CAL. If things continue as they have over the last 4 weeks, we will see Boston, Detroit, Milwaukee, and California in the ALDS. Over in the NL, Pittsburgh has all but wrapped up the central, San Diego has the Best record in BB, much to the chagrin of the Dodgers as they have the second best record in the NL, pretty much guaranteeing the wildcard to them. The only drama left is the see saw battle between Philly and Atlanta with neither seemingly wanting to claim the east, although the Phillys did put together an amazing 4 week stretch where they went 16-2 Three teams are in the NL, just waiting to see who will limp in from the east

Best of luck! I have a feeling that if the season went on forever, we'd just seesaw back and forth, but obviously it's going to end with one of us in first (or tied, I suppose) after the final sim. After last season, I'm really just happy to be having "normal" luck this time.

I've yet to figure out either of our teams, just when I thought your team had finally jelled and was gonna run away with the NL... and my team is jekyll and hyde as they come
