Brian you’re my man but this battle isn’t worth it. Darryl made it clear he’s not budging. Take the L and move on. nothing I've said of late has to do with he should, just semantics of late

You know it's time to chill out when Shale is telling you something history based isn't worth it lol

You know it's time to chill out when Shale is telling you something history based isn't worth it lol They have 2 different perspectives. One thinks that a former city of a team can honor those players that previously played there. The other is more of a purist and believes that team achievements stay within the team regardless of whether the team moves elsewhere or not. All in all, it’s someone’s forum signature and there was no way Brian could possibly plead Darryl into changing his mind. Thus, time to move on.

I'm fine with the city... nowhere have I complained or said anything about the city in this thread. my op even said I was OK with the city. It about the fact he played < 1 season on the brewers and his sig reads Mil Brewers hall of excellence. That was my only complaint.... ' ohhhh...

Keep suck the fun out of this league with your childish antics. the present participle you are looking for ends in "ing" glad to see you could come up with another reasonable reply and not just an insult... oh wait...

This reminds me of the old BBSBL3 hall of fame voting when Erbes intentionally put Pedro or someone else in as a Cub instead of rightfully getting a Red Sox cap just to fuck with and piss off break.
Never thought I’d see someone call out another person for their forum sig.

I’ll admit if Brian ends up writing an article putting Seaver into the Braves team HOF just because of that magical 1981 Cy Young and WS championship season of his, I could understand why but I wouldn’t particularly like it because Seaver was my guy and will always be considered a Met first and foremost.

Of course Seaver like Aaron with my team played the majority of his career for you. And in my original article when i put Matthews and Aaron in it mentioned their contribution to Milwaukee baseball not just the Brewers.

It’s an interesting concept but it’s your team so do you. Not to mention forum sigs can always be turned off.

Agreed.
Plus there is even real life examples of this. Bobby Hull with Arizona Coyotes. Wade Boggs with the Rays

Unlike a Brewers guy

Wade Boggs with the Rays Boggs had 2 full seasons with the rays (not part of one), and Hull played 7 seasons for the Jets before they became the Coyotes (notice this is the same franchise that moved to a new city, much like the Braves moved to a new city...) It's not like an organization that NEVER had Bobby as a player (or less than a full season), added him so great example that isn't based on ANYTHING relevant... good job....

Darryl should get an extra 2 points for defending why Aaron should be included as a Brewer even though he didn't give any defense for it.

Take a hint that no one cares what you think. You don't even understand how an example works. Maybe stick to cheating for draft spots.

Take a hint that no one cares what you think. You don't even understand how an example works. Maybe stick to cheating fordraft spots. just because you fail to understand that the examples you listed have no relevance to your argument doesn't mean one has no idea how examples work. maybe you should look up the textbook definition of what an example is guess what neither of your "examples" provide for your 'position' also just so you can comprehend better, boggs was brought in at the beginning of TB existence, Aaron didn't share that similarity for your brewers. Boggs helped define the NEW franchise where the Brewers had been around for a couple years by the time Aaron arrived mid way into your brewers teams 3rd season. but please keep up the attacks on my mental ability or just plain out insult me, cause that's what constructive conversation is all about.
