Well Braves fans, after the week of despair, we bounce back for a 5-2 run. After dropping the first 2 games to the cubs in the previous 8 days, these 8 started off with back to back wins, so the series ended up 2-2. On to Pittsburg and a 2 out of 3 series with the Pirates, and the 8 days ended with splitting the first 2 of the 3 game series in Houston.
The Gem of the week was the 1-0 win over the Cubs as Robinson got another complete game shutout for his 19th win.
The hard knock loss was the 0-5 shellacking by the Pirates as it was against Robinson and he just looked dreadful.
One thing is for sure, the Braves are a rockin and ah rollin, so you could say Atlanta was built on...
