Well after a high flying summer, the braves decided to wave goodbye to summer with ... meh
The last 8 days of August brought a 4-4 record
Starting in houston they lost 2, to finish 1-3 against the stros, off to Philly for the loan bright spot of back to back wins, and finished in SFran (who scheduled this idiotic coast to coast to coast road trip) slitting the 4 game series.
The hard knock loss goes to Robinson who pitched a complete game semi shutout (no earned runs) but the Braves lost 1-0
The Gem was Matlack going 8 and Corbett coming on for his 41st save for a 2-0 shutout of the Philly's
You know they were lovin every minute of it...
