Well Braves fans, the past week was pretty good, starting off with a win vs the Giants, to even that series 2-2. They went on to sweep the Padres, over 3 games, with the lone loss finishing the week off at LA.
Mark Brouhard continued his hot bat, now with 6 HR in his last 8 games, to remain tied for the lead in the NL with 14 now.
Rookie John Smoltz is 2-0 in his last 3 starts with a 2.00 ERA, not bad for the youngster.
In the area of futility, Don Robinson finally got a win.
As I'm sure everyone is aware, we have a new bat in town, with Bob arriving in time to suit up against LA this evening. Should be fun to see how he transitions from being a redbird to a Brave
And the #87 rock song from 87 is...
