I prefer you not to be running 2 teams (Pirates and Mets) at the same time but I am OK with you running the Pirates with Dave so long as Dave has primary control starting in 1960. Show him the ropes and whatnot. I am OK with you helping Dan too. As long as your primary focus is the Mets then we're good. It's only for a couple months anyway.

Ya I'd rather have Dave have a say in the Pirates draft picks while you pick for the Mets anyway lol.

Yeah if Dave wants assistance, I can do that. If he's comfortable on his own, then I'll just help Dan then because I'll still be exporting for him and Stutter (his laptop has OOTP problems of some sort and he's too lazy to fix it lol) regardless. But we can deal with this when the time comes.

But yeah #1 focus was gonna be the Mets no matter what Now I just need to make the most of this and next season to make my time in the Steel City amount to something!

Honest question. With whomever the Cleveland owner is suppose to be (Ashes?!?) not being around at all, why not let Shale co-manage them, and help out whomever else (DRowe, Dave if he needs it, which I don't think he will), and let Dave go ahead and step in for the Pirates?
Would that not strengthen the league immediately in terms of participation?

Been waiting to finally compete for the postseason and this is finally the time when all the numerous hours of working on articles and everything has come together. So no, I would prefer to run this team for the rest of the season at the very least.

If anything, Dave should take the Indians if Ashes isn't around, but yesterday, Ashes made a post. I know that he recently relocated to San Diego, but I'll ask him if he still has time to participate here.

And furthermore, CSCommish, before anything happens, we need to discuss what will happen to my points when I do go to the Mets. I feel I should be able to bring my points bank with me, while Dave starts off with whatever new GM's get when taking over a new team. No one has come even close to working harder to earn points than I have, so I would be very frustrated if I was not able to take my points with me. If I can't take my full bank, I hope that at the very least, some sort of compromised agreement can be made. Let's not rush ourselves here. Obviously Jeremy has a hard-on for Dave and is very excited to see him sign up, but there are quite a few things that need to be dealt with first and foremost.

Obviously Jeremy has a hard-on for Dave and is very excited to see him sign up, but there are quite a few things that need to be dealt with first and foremost. WTF is your problem? First, CSCommish has already addressed the point situation. Multiple times towards the beginning of the league. Of course they go with you. YOU earned them. Not the team. Second, a hard on for Dave? No. I just know he'll be active, unlike most of the "friends" you bring into these leagues. I hate that this league just started, only has 16 teams, and we already have 2-3 owners that don't show up to do much of anything. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out which teams will be so far behind in terms of run into the ground that they will have little chance of winning, regardless of who is running them. I was just hoping we could avoid that so early in this league's history. Which brings me to my third point. Thirdly, your "help" with a couple of those other teams borders on collusion. I can't get DRowe on to talk trade, but you can easily make a trade with him simply b/c you know him outside of the game. If you are doing work for Cle/Balt, you shouldn't be able to trade with them. And quite frankly, Cleveland should be up for grabs as absent as Ashes has been. And you know that. I wasn't really trying to take "your team" away from you, as much as I was just trying to get another active owner into the league as soon as possible. And it doesn't make much sense to give Dave Cleveland, if he is going to switch to Pittsburg as soon as you leave. I get that you want to see this through a bit, and I get it, but stop talking playoffs. lol. You are already 9 out, and 5 games under .500. There is no playoffs in the Buc's immediate future. Promise. Maybe Dave would be content to take over Cleveland until KC joins. I don't know. I was just throwing out an idea. Nothing more.

DRowe has mentioned multiple times you haven't sent great offers for Brooks Robinson. Maybe make better offers that could help his future more than his present? Good to know about the points. Was just clarifying that. What friends did I bring that have been inactive? I didn't recruit Ashes here and I sure as hell have not been exporting for the Indians lol Spencer was doing that when Ashes was legit away on military leave. Break and I got DRowe here. That's it. I despise all kinds of collusion in OOTP, fantasy sports or anything. There was no collusion in anything I've ever done. I only export for the Orioles. Any roster changes or call-ups/demotions come from him. I'm just the one that goes on the program and makes the manual changes. And I will be doing the same for Stutter as well when he arrives. Look Jeremy, I was simply trying to get clarification on all this. And I fully understand that was simply an idea. I'm not mad at you. You simply want to see a more active league, as do I. Yes I wish the less active GM's were around more, but in case you're wondering, I do keep DRowe in the loop with everything that happens. If there's something he legit needs to do, I will let him know, and he gets on and gets it done.

Also, I check this league frequently. I don't post as much as I used to because it's been pretty slow around here. And I haven't done much with my team because I've really just been waiting for the Yankees to come down from God-tier status. Couple all that with going from boot camp, to school, to training, to more school, and now relocation to San Diego, I've been a bit busy. I missed out on a lot of offseason stuff this time around because of preparing to move. I still check my team daily, reverse PDs/camp players, and I export when I actually have changes.

Obviously my activity isn't through the roof, but if you check the users in the last 24 hours list, you'll pretty much always see my name. I know there are several people around here that you can't say the same about.
