charts, stats, spreadsheets and whatever can't be the final say so on things. This is a sim league. We have an unrealistic franchise rule here, yet we are hard pressed on ratings and talents I don't like that shit at all. Nobody likes franchise, it's not coming back on reset |

But as I have said previous times, when creating players for the draft the franchise rsvp needs to be taken into consideration. its wild a team can win the world series and somehow end up with the best player in the draft(hypothetically speaking) how does this league expect the bottom teams to actually get better when its hard for them to even grab elite talent at the top of the draft? Depending on the draft for teams shouldn't be everything to build a team but a team should be able to build up home grown talent without having to deal them just to compete. |

I think the franchise rule was just something fun and different to try after the last vanilla historic league done before this one. It's a cool concept but ya does hurt when stud teams jump to get really good guys. That changed the landscape of the league early on when a player like koufax went to an already good dodgers or the braves who were already a 100 win team getting maddux and smoltz 2 years in a row. cant tell me that didnt do anything to the nl east. It is what it is at this point. It wont be in the next league or itll be completely changed chris has said and itd be unfair to get rid of it now for the teams who still have guys. |

This file is all effed up. Most of the offensive guys in the draft are DH's, I don't even see Zimmerman in the file.
