Yeah for sure, that's why I offered on him and missed out on a bunch of other guys. But $12M is a lot for a guy with a sub-.300 career OBP.

If you decide to spend on him, sure…but he has other guys to spend on who are younger and more important.

I don’t have any desire paying a guy who can’t play a lick of defense, isn’t a guy that can steal a ton of bases, and frankly isn’t a stud hitter for that term. But maybe that’s just me.

The contract doesn’t suck for Eddy since he’s paying nobody for the foreseeable future btw, but it will deter other people from dealing for him, though.

1. Because there was a VERY strange coincidence in one of the offers potentially, so I'd like to know who has the pw.

2. But according to my file, he didn't sign with anybody.  I still show him as a FA, no?  He isn't on the Transaction Log either.
