I think Brian was stream-of-consciousness writing, trying to get as many words out as possible lol, and formed a template of sorts for himself, hence the similar language. But if you can use the tool stoool used to prove that it is highly-confident to be AI, then we can start to look at deducting points.
Since Mark's was rated as 100% AI, I will cut in half. There is some level of effort to give multiple prompts to generate an article, but maybe Mark should have spent more time editing it to make it his voice.
Otherwise, it will be impossible to completely police AI writing. Similar to what play said, maybe do some research, give multiple prompts to AI to generate content, but need to make a reasonable effort to make it your own voice and relatable to this audience.
I checked my Jeter articles and they were like 0% and 1% AI, so there's that...

ehh, i don;t think it works that way but my articles were 100% written with no AI assistance. It was just copy and paste and editing prior ones and updating.

I wrote my article. I hardly wrote any because I am not very well written usually do those graphic ones but those take forever and only get like 3 pts. Hence I don't write many. I wanted it to look better so I fed it through ai said make it look written like a newspaper baseball article.
I still wrote it then basically asked for it to be edited. Take the 6 pts i don't give a shit anymore. Tired of the crying and drama done need. League isn't even fun anymore.
