On behalf of future GM or if Jeff comes back.
Anyone can be had, the team can start to compete, so I'm not necessarily looking to tear the team down. If there is a top level talent you want, there needs to be some major league talent on the way back.

Gray is ok, but didn't realize Machado got up to brilliant in hits, dang, so I think they're needs to be more. How about 4th and Schwarber for Machado and Winkler. |

that's fine, if I was rebuilding the Padres, I'd consider, but I think SDG has a chance to compete, so I need quality over quantity
