Red Sox send:

1B Harry Agganis

SP Tex Clevenger (AAA)

SP Tom Brewer (AAA)

I wanted 3 very good spects (with at least 1 of them being elite) for Kiner and this was the only kind of offer that really lived up to what I was expecting and hoping to get. Agganis could develop into a very good hitter, while Clevenger could be a future ace and Brewer could be a nice 2, 3 or 4 for the future.

Please place Clevenger and Brewer in AAA and call up Agganis to major league roster and place him at 1B in all lineups and depth charts where Kiner previously was.

Oh and go ahead with the "friend trade" bullshit. I'm used to it by now and I'm sure Break is as well. This was not a friend trade at all. I made a lot of efforts to ask quite a few GM's if they were interested and how much they give up for Kiner and by the offers I saw from each of these guys, it was clear that Break was willing to give up the most for him.

So save your breath Matt. No friend trades up in here.

I rarely comment on trades anyways so sure if that keeps jackasses from starting something from nothing. This trade has nothing wrong with it. He went through half a dozen options and mine was the best one.
