Boston selects LF Roy Foster, via auto. Cubs select RP Jim Ray, via list. I literally just talked to Break and he said he wanted Jim Ray. Any way to make this happen? |

I'm not going to take the player Chicago wanted away, after the fact. Breaks' time had went, I auto'd, Chicago had a list. It's not that fair for me to take that guy away, after the pick was official, so I'm not going to go back. If Break wanted somebody else, or wanted Ray before I posted the Chicago pick, I'd probably have done it, even though I'm known for not liking to go back and change picks after they have been posted.
Please put any additional comments on this in the other draft thread. Thanks!

I've been working mandatory 55+ hour weeks since early January. Every week. I'm busy too. I used to not change anything once it was posted. A year or two ago I started adjusting picks IF the next pick had not been made. And that was the case with Spenser. But there had been two picks made since your pick. I know you don't care, but my file that I auto from becomes jacked up if I have to change a pick. I knew you'd take it personal, but it wasn't. Heck, I even steered clear of the guy you wanted to draft so I wouldn't have to hear about it from you. Send lists. |

His comment was about 8-10 minutes after I made the pick after yours (CHN). By the time you posted ANOTHER name, I had already made the CHA pick. Fact. I checked before I moved these posts. As for who the auto was, sorry, but that is who the computer chose for you. I don't control that. Download the file and check for yourself. It should replicate. My policy has always been not to change picks once the next pick has been made. Period. |
