Jeremy join BBSBL, Id love to see the drama. And Id like a good GM to come in. I don't really have time for two leagues. So much so, that I regretted joining this league while I was still in GABL. Luckily, K worked that out for me.

He had a very advantageous start but he keeps it rolling. One of the best OOTP GMs around. Hed be a great addition.

Can't wait to see your team in 10 years when your starting biases run out and your team sinks to the middle of the pack. I've been waiting for somebody to say something stupid like this. Go check out what I did in GABL after my "starting biases ran out". I'll save you the time.....my team did the same thing it did with those starting biases. Won a lot of games. Except for the Colorado Years :-)

Should I post the list of players you currently have that the game handed you at the beginning of the league again? Because it's still just as big as it was 2 years ago when I did last time. Eh. All 5 of my SP's were either drafted by me, traded for by me, or signed in FA. Only one of my relievers was on the Dodger team when the league started. So that means 10 out of the 11 pitchers I've carried on my roster this season, weren't "given to me." As for the bats..... Roseboro - On intitial roster. Stoll - Drafted. Gilliam - On initial roster. Davalillo - Traded for. Orsino - Drafted. Gentile - On roster, but not anywhere near the player he is today. Veal - Traded for. Alusik - Traded for. Groat - Traded for. Clemente - On roster. Demeter - On roster, but not anywhere near the player he is today. Dillard - Drafted. Amoros - On roster. You want him? Shearer - On roster. You want him? So 7 out of the 14 bats were on my initial roster. Two of them suck at this point, and I could EASILY replace both with guys I've drafted. A guy like Anderson you would have cut back in 1953 b/c his ratings were so bad. A couple of guys I've had some good PD's to, but we've all had guys like that, so I shouldn't be punished. If I didn't have Gentile, for example, maybe that PD goes to another guy that I drafted instead. Not saying I didn't start the league in a good situation. Not saying that at all. But that isn't my fault. And that has nothing to do with you being a piss poor Boston GM. Does it? So my current roster has 8 out of 25 guys that were given to me. 2-3 of those 8 I could easily replace with guys I've drafted. So we're looking at about 5 guys. Roseboro. Gilliam. Gentile. Clemente. And Demeter. <insert break nonsense reply here>

This entire league is me waiting for that run. That is how we're different. I fully expect to keep winning in this league, long after the guys that were "given to me", and guys like Koufax, are gone. You seem to think you can only win when you get those two guys. We'll see. Personally, I don't think it'll be a given that you have a dominant team with those two. Sorry. Pedro should be awesome, wouldn't shock me if Nomar was just "good". We'll see if you even last that long. We're a long ways off from the early to mid-90's.
