Willie McCovey (1955):
Value: 2 * (8.1 + 7.0 + 6.5 + 6.5 + 5.9) = 68.0 = 68
Ratings: A/A/F/B/B/A
Juan Marichal (1957):
Value: 2 * (10.3 + 9.1 + 7.8 + 7.7 + 6.4) = 82.6 = 83
Ratings: G/G/B/B/G with A endurance
Add them together and it's 151 points; add reservation fees and it's 171; add in 10 point penalty for picking players in 5-year window and it's 181 already. You'd have to make sure your Draft Day Jump Fee is no more than 19 total, or about 10 in both seasons. You may have to trade up in the 1957 draft.
FYI, if you keep them through the 1970s and hit 20 years for both, you got a bunch of points back and add in the 2/yr beginning in 2000, you MIGHT have enough for a late 2000's player.

10 + 83 + 10 + 83 + 10 = 196. You'd have to have draft day jump fees of no more than 4 COMBINED between the 2 drafts.

FYI:
McCovey will cost: 10 for reservation + 68 for player value + 5 for draft day jump = 83 points
Cepeda will cost: 10 for reservation + 54 for player value + 4 for draft day jump = 68 points

In either scenario, you are looking at forfeiting your second round pick.
If you do McCovey, you'll have 117 points left over; if you do Cepeda, you will have 132 points left over. You need to have 10 points set aside for the penalty if you choose to reserve Marichal or Perry.
