Yea, I know, a little late; I was not feeling well the past few days and, as a result, a couple things ran late sim-wise. But we're catching up and I am offering the following gift; you have options and must choose one.
* FREE Primary Talent increase! Here's the old kicker: You MAY bump a rating to BRILLIANT, provided that the player is 26 years old or older (as of 1969 Opening Day sim) and it will cost 30 points. Another kicker: Did the player already have primary talent increase? THAT'S FINE! It will cost you an additional 60 points. Don't have the points? It's OK, you can go into the negative to make this work.
OR
* 75 points!
Please note that this MUST be spent by the 1969 Opening Day sim! If it is not, I will spend it for you as I see fit!
Tracker:
NYN - SP Brabender Walks to Brilliant CAL - SP Walker Hits to Brilliant PIT - SP Taylor Hits to Brilliant SFG - SP Perry Hits to Brilliant OAK - SP Peterson Hits to Brilliant BOS - SP Lonborg HR to Brilliant MIN - SP Tiant Hits to Brilliant DET - SP Bearnarth Hits to Brilliant LAN - SP Dilaruo Hits to Brilliant CLE - SP Beck Hits to Brilliant WAS - SP Newman Hits to Brilliant CHN - CF Phillips HR to Brilliant CHA - OF Bailey Hits to Brilliant ATL - SP Dobson Hits to Brilliant NYA - CF Allen Hits to Brilliant KCR - 75 pts SEP - C Billings hits to Brilliant STL - 75 pts CIN - SP Billingham Hits to Brilliant MON - 75 pts HOU - 75 pts PHI - 75 pts SDG - 75 pts BAL - 75 pts

man the 75 points is tempting but im already at 164 points and have to down to 150 by opening day...hows that work?
and so if its a to brilliant and the player has already had an upgrade...thats 90 points...damn
is there a certain limit to how far a team can go into negative points?

(credit card) debt ... but you can't spend any more points while in the negative, so that's the catch.

That would give you an entire season to spend the points to get below 150, unless the date of 1969 in Chris' post is incorrect (doubt it is). You're welcome.

This is a tough decision, although, I really only have two options if I want to do the Brilliant.
Nice gift Chris. Thanks.

For the Orioles, I will defer this decision to the next owner.
For the Royals, I will defer this decision until after the 1969 expansion draft and free agency.

Yes, but I have not processed it yet, so ATL is technically not completed but will be. Thanks. Darell joined a while ago but did not ask for a team until a couple days ago. Just tonight I said he could have the Phillies, or Indians for that matter. Dougiejay I am not familiar with, who is he?
