Round 3 completed! Everyone else, get your 3-man lists in by 7 AM Eastern; if you do not post one, no additional players are protected. This will be the last time you will be allowed to protect additional players. Round 4 will be run live as per usual and I'll "auto" rounds 5 and 6 to fill up rosters and to move things along. @steve1213 I figure this tag should be just as good as a PM. ahhh so um, how many guys should I be protecting now? |

It was posted in sim updates and a couple times in discussion ... after 1st, 2nd, 3rd rounds you could protect 3 more if desired. Little more than half did. 4th round on, it's 3 players total to close out draft. Slim pickings. |

I would state that the round was over and I announced that 3 more protections could be made and they were due by the following morning.

future ref, you might wanna put it in the draft instructions. Some days I have a ton of time, others not so much. In the case of the draft, I just looked at the instructions, saw that the draft was gonna take all weekend and only gave a cursory look at the forum as Sat was GF BDay and Sun was VDay... coupled with far too much beer.

The more important thing is that the main protections were made; hopefully you did not lose too much depth at AAA. |

even if I lost some depth, a couple 3 seasons and I should have the team in good shape. Not particularly worried, was more of a wtf moment followed by a little pouting  |

I didn't really pay much attention to this...I'll use FA to fill out the roster. Yeah but what if someone REALLLY didn't pay attention and drafted like... not even 10 ML pieces Then they would have been getting that 1st overall amateur pick next season? |
