File and Pages are up! It's time for Spring Training, which will be run tomorrow at noon. The deadline will be at 12:00 PM Eastern. As per the Constitution:
Spring Training Plans
Since there is no "Export to FTP" option in OOTP5, teams have three (3) options:
1. All 5's (Default)
Post on the Spring Training forum "All 5's" if it is desired to utilize the default option.
2. Ask Coaches
Post on the Spring Training forum "Ask Coaches" if it is desired to ask the advice of the coaching staff. The Commissioner must confirm receipt of this post.
3. Customized Spring Training Plan
When completed, click on the export button, which saves the file onto the local hard drive. The file will be located at C:\Program Files\Out of the Park Baseball\OOTP5\HOFFBL.lg\EXPIMP\ and be named "TEAMST##.dat" with ## being the team ID number. Email this file to me at chrisscosenza@yahoo.com
Please post your preferred plan (IN THE SPRING TRAINING THREAD) and I shall confirm. Remember, 2 points for sending a file and 1 point for telling me to do All 5's or Ask Coaches. Say nothing, it is assumed to be all 5's, but no points will be rewarded.
I will also do Reward Camps prior to ST, if there any left undone.
Also, be ready to spend some points prior to the Opening Day sim Wednesday evening; you must have no more than 150 points in your bank AT THE TIME I run the Opening Day Sim; Dave will add the off-season points (FA/ST/OD) AFTER the Opening Day sim.

weird question but i know in LBB we voted to go DH in both leagues. just gotta know if we are still historically accurate here to know if i have to set up my non Dh lineup. thanks

I would be willing to reconsider going DH in just AL, both or neither, sooner. This would be a good poll question. Too late for this season but something to consider soon. |

I post it after the Opening Day sim, when all of the rosters are set for the start of the season and required RC's are spent. I will post them in a separate thread and keep it announced through June 1st.

It'd be nice if one of you made a suggestion that didn't also include lame insults to other owners. If you are referring to my post...where did I insult other owners? Want me to break it down for you.... so you understand? The comment was referring to the fact that we have already discussed about not going to a full league and expanding to the actual amount of teams the real mlb has due to the lack of quality gms available. There was no shot at anybody. Not everything is a shot at anyone. You need to stop assuming everything is a shot. It's almost like you just hope people are so you can go on one of your multipost rants. |
