That only hurts the small market teams. I say leave it where it is. How bout we focus on getting more active owners? Guessing there is no way to convert this league to a newer OOTP version, without just manually inputting everything (which wouldn't be an option)? How? Which small market teams that are competing have 50 million in cash? The Pirates needed every penny they had during their run atop the NL East. The Twins are another small market team that has had financial problems most of the time. Lowering the cash cap could be the difference between a small market team being able to afford the big $10+ million salary that puts them over the top or not.

How about only having a payroll you can afford? But it also brings the big spenders back closer as well.
