Ok people can't have it both ways. You can't say Henderson should have brilliant because of stats and then seconds later say Stewart should have a brilliant with nothing at statistically to support it.

I rated Stewart all good talents I think in LBB, so that's fine with me

I admitted I hadn't taken the time to look at Stewart's stats. But here is the difference. Henderson as a player with G/A/B ratings, some good secondary ratings (doubles, triples), great defense, and A/A speed/stealing is still a really good player. That is a starter and potential All-Star in our league. Stewart at G/G/G/G/G probably isn't. Not many great pitchers in this league that don't have a single Brilliant talent. Sometimes a player's numbers that make up these individual talents, doesn't necessarily reflect how good the player was overall. Moreso for pitchers in this league. Henderson can be a HOF with the ratings we've given him. Stewart cannot.

Henderson can be a HOF with the ratings we've given him. Stewart cannot. Didn't realize the drama on Henderson. Let me put this to bed. I am OK with Henderson with either Brilliant or Good. Darryl is right, I wanted to give the durable guys a chance to hit their counting stats because it's hard to control durability in OOTP5, even with a thing called the Durable rating. I am also OCD with the realism, so I'd rather have year-by-year stats be reasonable. I'd rather see Henderson hit .270 than .350. Plus at XMAS, Henderson can be boosted to Brilliant anyway if that's how bosoxi rolls. I am OK with Stewart having the Brills after looking at his best 7 seasons. I'm OK with the ratings as is and I appreciate everyone's input, especially Darryl, who spent a lot of time doing this. In fact, I need a taker for 1977.

Just as an fyi, I won't be around much today/tonight, or tomorrow. I'll check in and keep things moving as I can though.

You can send me 1977. I might need a break from rating this fall as I expect to be pretty busy. Might as well hammer out a few more before then.

Sorry guys, I've had some work issues come up and haven't been around much. Today doesn't look much better, but I'll try to stop in a couple of times to make picks.
SEND LISTS!
