Welcome to 1978!
File and pages are up. I have not touch the financials, team settings, minor league teams yet but have cleared messages and exports. As per usual, please note that the amateur players have NOT been touched yet in this file. I will work on the ammy players over the next week or so.
I will post a schedule, file flip points and ammy draft order in a day or so, but in the meantime, plan on next weekend being the EARLIEST we will start FA/Ammy.
Winter meetings can begin! Now is the time to rethink strategy, make trades and propose rule changes. Feel free to export FA offers; they will not get lost as we make updates in the file because I do not import FA offers until the actual sim --- importing offers and then posting a file allows other teams to see who has a favorite offer and it would be possible to top an offer by simulating (you do not need commish powers to sim FA).
Trading is OPEN.
Looking for owners for A's, Blue Jays and Expos. Prior owners can claim them back but they have to act soon! I did do some reversals for the better of the league. I believe calumet wants the Expos, so it may be the Dodgers that are open instead.

Updated file/pages to reflect updates to C/1B/2B. I hope to do 3B/SS tonight, OF tomorrow, SP Tuesday, MR Wednesday and clean up Thursday with the goal to start reservations and FA on Friday or Saturday night.
I also processed a few trades (including reversing one), fixed financials and team settings. I noticed I did not set a team market or fan loyalty rating for Mariners and Blue Jays back when they were created last season, so I compensated them 5M each.
Spencer is back running the Giants. Jeff willingly relinquished the team and will be taking over the Expos. I am going to gift him 75 points for switching teams.
Still need owners for A's (bosoxi can have them if he is OK) and the Dodgers. 50 points for anyone who can find a new owner.

File/pages updated ... Batters done. Feel free to gripe. Chili Davis is too good. All he ever did was ruin Pedro's no hitter

idk, he seems about par compared to the others in the draft... if anything he may be a tad under having avg for batting as he had multiple >300 ba seasons finishing with a career 274.
wow... never knew he had a WS ring, much less 3 of them... forgot he hit 2 dingers for the twins against the braves

He's the terrible batting coach for the Red Sox at the moment.

Implying all he did is one thing when the stats are clear as day to look at shows it's pretty clearly a joke in itself.

I know which teams are still alive but that's about it for my seasonal knowledge this year.

Some could say he's a bum for going 0-4 in his last WS...

Outside of his age-24 (year 4) season in which he batted .315, his first 13 seasons (from age-21 (year 1 in 1981) through age-33 (year 13 in 1993)), he was a .263 hitter. It wasn't until his latter 5 seasons (from age-34 (year 14 in 1994) through age-38 (year 18 in 1998)) that he started to bat good by our standards, hitting .299 ... I am ignoring his last season (1999) So yes, he did bat .318, .315, .311, .292, .291, .288 in his best 6 seasons ... I can make him Good, but note that I would make his actual rating a low 2 so that it would take a long time to get to 6 or 7.

Kevin Bass has a 0 rating. At the very end, I will correct actual ratings and do a blanket fix to remove ALL 0 ratings throughout the file.

I clearly had to look up the reference to finally see it clearly.

Where's the list of file flip points? Usually it's up right when the flip happens.
