Winning desire and loyalty just aren't things that you can upgrade. It wouldn't make sense to do that because increasing those particular categories would literally just give benefits for teams to sign and extend certain players and that just doesn't make sense. All the rewards in this league were inspired by BBSBL 3, which included TIC's that could increase consistency, clutch and team leadership. Winning desire and loyalty were never on the table and it just wouldn't make sense to increase those ratings just so players are easier to sign and extend. Part of the game is to see if those strong winning desires and minimal loyalties will have an effect on whether you sign or extend someone. Extending Burleson was my main desire... dang it. You guys would hardly believe that I almost ruined my team already- having a 4-man rotation with strict order, then listing the SAME pitcher back to back in the order... forgetting to put the other pitcher in one of those slots. Geeeeeeez. Still getting used to uploading and stuff as I have always just had to send in my orders and such to a commish... then he could always alert me to those boo-boos or tidy them up himself. Note to dgfred... pay more attention and re-check your work. Dumb-head. |

Yea, I don't want to change loyalty and desire because it affects contract offers and finances, which I am trying really hard to keep from going out of whack.
As for boosts to Brilliant, as I said above, the gift is that you are able to get it to that level but it comes with a cost, like any other reward that costs points.

As we're coming to the end of the 1979 season, bumping this up as a reminder to the teams that haven't used these rewards (myself included) in full have until the 1980 opening day sim to use them.
How many points must teams use by Opening Day?
