It's happened 64 other times, including 10 times to the Braves alone. Oh, and FYI, a few teams have won 100 games and not made the playoffs, which has happened 9 times, including the Cardinals 4 times alone. Ironically, the Giants' best season was in 1969, in which they won 102 games. They did not make the playoffs, lol. Same for Astros in 1975, in which they won 96 games ... Phillies in 1953, in which they won 93 games ... Rangers in 1976, in which they won 91 games. |
