Correct. I haven't made any file changes since publishing the league reports from last week. I want to do stadium and weather data along with Fan Loyalty settings first before I publish a new file. I am also waiting for more gripes. I would like to see 20+ changes per team. I was hoping to have a whole list of gripes to you by now, but I just haven't had the time. Hopefully this week I'll start getting some to you. Yup, but not talking to you...really everyone. Look at how I (on my alter-username) listed the Yankees pitching prospects who had to be turned down several notches. I need every team to do the same. In the end, I'd like to see the batters better represented in the top 100 prospects too. That is until Sandy Koufax and Bob Gibson come to town. Oh good lordy. I can't wait.

Guess I have to suck until Gibson comes around And I'll work on my gripes beginning of this week and the end of next. This is a generation of Cardinals I do need to research because I don't know much about all of them.

I think it's a bit unfair to only count the metropolitan area of Boston. That's only about 70% of Greater Boston... There are 4,522,858 more people living in Greater Boston which at least around here is considered the city outskirts.

I'm not going to fight if you keep it good but Boston is a small city in size so it's outskirts are very densely populated.

Boston should be one of the largest markets because they have by far one of the largest fan bases of any team in my opinion. Top 3 for sure.
Now, if the only criteria for this is city population, I could understand that more. But if it has more to do with payroll and a team's fan base, the Sox have to be at the very top.

Boston only has a lot of fans "around the country" because they've been good for awhile, and got their WS finally (at my Cardinals' expense). Growing up though, I don't remember anybody being a Boston fan. And should they return to losing ways, I'd expect that "bandwagon" fandom to decrease again.
Not trying to bash, just being realistic. It's like Notre Dame football. Tons of fans during my HS years because they were good. Than they stunk for a decade or more, and their fans disappeared. Now they start winning again, and here come the fans back. Some fan bases keep the majority of their fans win or lose. The Cardinals. The Cubs. I don't know that Boston fits that.

Basing this completely off of TV Market Size. Boston is "Big" if I were to utilize "Really Big" for LA and "HUGE" for NY.

I'm just not sure how you base this if our payroll is always in the top 5 and in the last 15 years has been within 25 million of NY. I also think that the smaller teams that get locked into small Market Sizes will be less inclined to play once they realize they can never go above 50 million in payroll. There should be the ability to increase Market Size through consistent good play.

But I'll take Big. Better than the "Below Average" you tried to slap me with earlier!

In GABL, the amount the Yankees collect in broadcasting and merchandising was 70.1M whereas attendance was 21.2M last year and maybe 36.1M this year, still half broadcasting and merchandising, combined. Angels made 47.4M last year in attendance and 55.6M in broadcasting and merchandising, combined. I'm hoping that the larger markets make no more than 105M and smaller markets make at least 60M, overall. But we will see.

I've got really big in bbsbl and I make a hundred million a year with max interest After 20 sim seasons, it'll be 120M and be unfair.

If NY is Big, Boston should indeed be happy with Good. There still is quite the difference and a lot of what you refer to actually should get represented by other factors (loyalty, merchandising).
