File and pages are up. Exports, Messages, unnecessary files deleted. Financial Settings, Broadcasting, and Cash on Hand fixed. Mark just needs to send me Minor League Team Names. Ammy draft order hasn't been posted yet - I will do that tomorrow.
Winter meetings can begin! Now is the time to rethink strategy, make trades, and propose rule changes. Feel free to export FA offers; they will not get lost as we make updates in the file because I do not import FA offers until the actual sim --- importing offers and then posting a file allows other teams to see who has a favorite offer and it would be possible to top an offer by simulating (you do not need commish powers to sim FA).
I need to check in with Matt to see how we're going to do the draft. I could use assistance adjusting the players --- we have a spreadsheet that estimates the ratings after copying export data from baseball-reference. 50 points to whoever assists with the file.

I think the poll was pretty clear --- no changes. We'll have to start to do something different starting around the 2000 season.

The poll was 8-0 in favor of leaving things the way they are. But if there are any players missing from the draft pool entirely, I think those players should be added. The poll was regarding players in the OOTB file that are simply in the wrong year. |

If Ben Grieve, a real-life 1994 draft pick, is in the 1995 OOTPB draft file, he'll stay in 1995. (This was the poll)
If Ben Grieve does not exist in the file at all, he would be added into the 1994 draft. (Assuming someone catches his absence.)

I have started doing it myself. Give me 3-4 days max and I'll have at least 2 rounds done of accurate players.
