Couple things happening this (upcoming) season:
* HOFFBL and Washington Senators announce that they will move to Minnesota and become the Twins, in reference to the twin cities: Minneapolis and neighboring St. Paul.
* HOFFBL, Los Angeles and Washington are proud to announce expansion teams to the American League. They will begin play in 1961, but will immediately take part by making draft selections in the 1959 draft, selecting 5th and 6th respectively.
* After a coin flip, the Washington Senators will select 5th, the Los Angeles Angels will select 6th.
* The players selected by the Washington Senators and Los Angeles Angels will be placed in the minor league systems as determined by the Commissioner, which will generally be based on the lower ranking and lower number of players in the minor league system so as to give such players sufficient playing time.
* The players will be denoted by an asterisk (*).
I would like to confirm, here, if Stutter and Jeff (Martin) are still interested in running the teams they have claimed. I expect we will be ready to have them participate by the end of this month or beginning of next month.
