Indians trade SP-Mike Garcia to the Cubs in exchange for OF-Willie Kirkland (AAA) and SP-Paul Toth (AAA).
Both teams reserve right to rescind trade IF any of the players involved have a PD increase or PD hit during off-season sim. If none of 3 players have PD changes trade to be processed as stated.
We were/are looking for 1-2 top of the rotation arms and we think Garcia can be one of those pieces as we are looking to contend next year. Kirkland and Toth were caught in a numbers game with the depth of our minor league system.
