Tuesday 6/21/2003: Roy Halladay quiets Milwaukee bats with shutout
MILWAUKEE - Florida's right-hander Roy Halladay is clearly one of the best pitchers in the game. Milwaukee found out the hard way, getting just 2 hits. Halladay 1st shutout this season was a masterpiece, as he was almost untouchable. He has now hurled 7th shutouts in his career. Halladay (7-3) struck out 7 and walked 1, throwing 70 of 115 pitches for strikes. 'I was able to keep´em off balance. That certainly helped.' Tuesday 6/21/2003: Brian S. Giles blisters three bombs
SAN FRANCISCO - Hitting homeruns is one of the most difficult things in sports. To hit three of them in one game is almost sensational. Chicago (N)'s rightfielder Brian S. In the 7th inning he unloaded a solo homerun off Juan Cruz. A pitch from Juan Cruz in the 8th inning left his bat for a three-run homerun, landing 403 feet from home plate in right-center. Overall he stroked 4 hits in 6 AB, with three runs scored and driving in 5 runs. His homerun total this year is 28, along with 76 RBI. It's pretty obvious that he will enter the Hall of Fame some day! On 6/15/2003, Shawn Green was the last player to hit 3 dingers in a single game. Chicago (N) improved its record to 55-18, scoring 17 runs on 20 hits.

SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco is without its right-hander Travis Harper for at least 4-5 weeks. He injured himself while throwing a pitch to Magglio Ordonez in a game against Cincinnati.
