Dave has agreed to take over the Orioles.
He will run the Orioles full-time from now until 1962 file flip (3 full seasons), at which point he will take over the Pirates full-time. I have decided that Shale can continue to run the Pirates through the 1962 file flip, so long as he and Dave continue to make joint decisions regarding draft picks and trades. Shale will also make draft picks for the Mets in 1960 and 1961 in the meantime.
In 1962, Shale will switch from the Pirates to the Mets; Dave will switch from the Orioles to the Pirates. We will need to find a new O's owner at that time.

If it's no big deal, I'd rather stick with the Orioles until I take over Royals duties...leaving Pirates for someone else. 2 teams in 8 seasons sounds way better than 3. Let me know if you see any problem with this.

Nice. I appreciate your efforts Shale to keep the Orioles relevant, but I love having Dave here to move the team in a direction as appropriate and relieves Shale of the burden of babysitting a team.

Thanks for the welcome! I took a look at the team and have some ideas, but I think I'm going the FA route to fill in the roster and soak up some individual performances before I start trading guys away. I'm happy to listen to offers, but I won't be moving much for awhile...just a heads up.
