Holy cow Braves Fans, moments after being pushed out of the playoffs, the team owners decided to not sit on their fucking asses and traded for a proven stud, Paul McClellan from Cali. While old, Paul is a concistant 20 game winner and will come to Atlanta for at least 1-2 season and hold up as one of the best in the bigs. The guy is so good, he might even be able to win the Cy Young in the NL.
Paul has almost 200 wins and will certainly pass that mark with the Braves.
Probably the most shocking thing in his career is, he was traded in his prime from the Twinkies to the Angels.
While he may be in the twilight of his career, Paul waved his no trade clause, as he feels his chances of getting a ring goes up a little joining Smoltz and Maddux. A mainstay on Minnie's and then Cali's rotation, he come with plenty of post season experience and hopes to finally get to the promised land and come home with a ring.
