Well Braves fans, either the Skippers meeting or Archi's bat returning to the lineup seemed to have a spark on the team. Or, it's the fact they played the Phillies and Milwaukee for all seven games of this weeks games. Seven and oh they went. The two teams if they combined wins would still be 33 games behind the Braves. End result though it allowed them to increase their lead in the NL East to eleven games.

Smoltz and McClellan continue to lead the NL with 18 wins a piece. Smoltz is also #1 in K's this season leading the Majors with 255 K's
