Braves 8/8-8/15 edition
Well Braves fans, they had a decent week going 5-2 over the last 7 games including a 23-2 shell acking of the Rockies, with 5 HRs by the Braves in 27 hits. LF Obando had a hat trick of 3 of them. The following night the O dried up and they lost 7-9 to the same Rockies.
Smoltz and McClellen continue their blistering win total and each now has 19 wins on the season. Maddux seems to have kinda shaken his funk and over the last 5 games is 4-1, however in two of them he gave up 5 runs.
Maddux is now just 6 games away from the goal of 400 wins. With a month and a half left in the season, will he manage to get there?
