Hey all, I'm having two separate issues with two separate computers, and I wanted to see if anybody had any solutions.
Work laptop - Pretty good computer, but it runs so slow when the OOTP5 program is open. Specifically, trying to make changes for Spring Training, there is a big delay every time I try to move points from one category to another. Makes it impossible to do, because it just takes too long. On such a new(ish) laptop, could that really be a graphics card issue?
Home desktop (yeah, I'm old) - I've deleted all previous HOFFBL files from my computer, yet when I open the game, it still shows an old file, and it's the only one that I can open. I tried uninstalling OOTP5 and reinstalling, but the issue is still there. Files have been deleted from the Download folder and everywhere else, yet it still opens in the game. I'm at a loss.
Any thoughts, ideas, or help would be appreciated.

ST is slow on all computers for some reason. I just click and move on clicking it eventually catches up.
Desktop. are you using a shortcut to launch? if so make sure it's pointing where you think it is. I always install it outside program files as that is a protected folder now a days and wonky stuff can and will happen.

and dont hate on desktops, we have 3 in the house... along with 2 work laptops and 3 personal laptops... 2 iPads 2 fire tablets... we may have an electronic addiction

I use Winrar to open the downloaded file. Once I open the file with winrar, I rename the folder(usually whatever date it is so 052723.lg) and extract it to the OOTP folder
