Available: 3-time gold-glove winning-3b : B (Range), .973 (Fielding Pct.) Coming off a year in which he led the NL in walks with 100--which says quite a bit considering some of the hitters--while accruing only 37 SOs, Willie Jones collected his 3rd gold glove, helping him forget an otherwise "off" year at the disk. Basically, he is a bad fit for our parks, so we are trying to move him. He is 33yo, only costs ~$2.5M/yr, and is signed for this year and next. His eye is as good as ever: BBs 1953 - 100 - 2nd 1954 - 99 - 5th 1955 - 118 - 1st 1956 - 99 - 2nd 1957 - 92 - 6th 1958 - 100 - 1st looking for picks, prospects, points, pizzazz www.hoffbl.com/leaguesite/p1493.html

did you know?* Willie Jones holds both the single season and career records for defensive win shares as a 3b. In 1955, his D account for 7.1 win shares. He also has 2nd-highest total: 6.9 in 1954. And 5th: 5.8 in 1953. Last year, it was 4.6, only good for 28th-best all-time. In his career, Willie has accounted for 32.3 wins with his glove. www.hoffbl.com/history/lboards/wsindex.htmltheeeee mooorreeee uuuu knowwwww *does sportcenter still do this?
