Jay Bruce is NOT a brilliant hitter. He falls LITERALLY within the middle range of Good. Jon Jay, not Jay Bruce

.286 is the baseline good. .255 being average. Meaning by that Scale brilliant should be .307 MINIMUM

more like the gripes are being constantly rebutted with personal attacks and otherwise being ignored Agreed. Was going to ask about a few other things, but when people have asked for the charts to save time and get nothing, it's whatever.

Gripes should be more organized moving forward.
Can we please get the talent charts as a link at the top of the forum?
If we want gripes we need to have access to the criteria.
Jay is gonna stay brilliant in hits. Murphy too. So i think we should move on to other players.
Remember, gripes mean theyll be considered ,not, theyll do whatever you say.

Why is jay staying Brilliant? There's no statistical justification.

Silence from you when a .299 hitter with a peak .309 is denied, but you're all for giving a .295 peak hitter the Brilliant. It's really telling how biased you are at this point.

Can't wait for Xander to get denied when he's a better hitter than Jon Jay

I've argued my point of view on a couple, but unless necessary, I'm not making the call on the gripes. I've always preferred that to be a Chris Domain only. I've used some posts here to cause me to look at why x is y, and that has found a couple bugs. Beyond that just sitting back smh at some posts, because water is wet.

Because they feel like keeping it there. Who cares. He will be in the draft file and people can choose where to take him based on the final draft file. This IS NOT about being perfect. It is about being somewhat realistic. If a star busts here and there or a scrub blows up......that makes stuff interesting.

This is about consistency, which multiple people who claim to care about have let go out the window the last few years and it's just been joked about.

a .283 career hitter with a peak of .295 is not brilliant. It's simple as that. Yet simple evidence is ignored.

You posted 69 times in this thread and most of them are about the same thing. Other gripes are probably going to be missed because of that. They said no. Chris is the final say. Is what it is.

I'd have kept my 1st round pick if I'd have known Jay would be a brilliant hitter

pretty sure I posted that during a conversation with Chris and a couple other GMs Chris decided the Bril stays. wasn't my decision. End of story. But sure lets keep beating the dead horse, and filling the thread with more posts about the same thing.

I'd have kept my 1st round pick if I'd have known Jay would be a brilliant hitter next week or the week after I should have what the top of next draft class will look like for hitters and batters posted so people can make informed decisions / pre gripe. It wont be interactive, and it might change a little as I make the program more robust, but it should give a decent baseline of what people should expect.
