Rule question - can I trade down and still reserve Murphy? If so somebody offer me a deal for 7 no, you dont have 1/2 the points needed

Ya I'm a little confused too. What 5 or 7 year peak has Jay even close to a .300 average. Yet alone the .304 that goldschmidt has. His first 5 years is about .300 just from eyeballing it. Might do a little math to check Edit: Comes out to .295 tops 7 with over 2200AB he hit .302

we're gonna be doing top 6 or 7 years based on WAR for ratings (with minimum AB / IP for qualifications), going forward is basically the impression I got from Chris

Someone already said something about Evan Longoria and Salvadore Perez hits right? Both should be good based on top 5, 6 or 7 year spans

Also for shits and giggles.
Scherzer's velocity should probably be more then a 6. Or if he is a 6 then Chris Archer should also be a 6 (currently a 8).
Both guys averaged 94-95 mph on there fastballs via fangraphs.
***cant find Lincecums average velocity on fangraphs but looks like he was closer to 90 mph. Hes rated as a 6 as well.
Seems like this might be something that the program isn't able to figure out correctly.
Kershaw also a 4. Seems rather low for him. Definitely weird that he is below Lincecum.

Wasn't sure how much it impacted pitchers success and strikeouts. Haven't ran the 300 test seasons like some have haha.

Kershaw regularly got up to 94 in the first half of his career. 4 velocity seems too low. Scherzer also pitched 94, although kept he velocity his entire career.
*Source fangraphs.

more like the gripes are being constantly rebutted with personal attacks and otherwise being ignored

Jay Bruce is NOT a brilliant hitter. He falls LITERALLY within the middle range of Good.

.295 has historically been middle of road good hitter.
