Braves Spring Training, the Batters:
Well Braves fans as Opening Day is fast approaching, we will look at the likely candidates to be on the ML roster and what they will be doing. Losing the DH from last year was a huge hit when it comes to the production the Braves had at the plate, and I’m not sure the power output will be the same.
The meat of the order still has a lot of juice flowing through their veins, with Cedeno, Ojeda, Obando and old man Cianfrocco all able to smoke 30 out of the park any given season. The Braves have some of the best gloves in the league at every positions and it’s always been Skippers motif to play D first and score second, as he knows his pitching staff can pitch mistake free game in and game out.
The outfield looks like Klesko has won back RF, and after the starters the depth looks pretty thin. The IF looks like the same guys from last year will be doing the same thing this year.
