Well, the Braves really found a new way to surprise us, for the first time in years they completely shit themselves and rolled over in fertilizer thinking shit should promote growth.
Every single game was won by a single run, alas, only one was in favor for the Braves.
To make it worse, the Braves basically have the same hitters as the Senators, but are hitting 80 points lower.
The Braves returned 8 out of 9 hitters, brought in two stud pitchers and are on pace to lose 30 more games than last year. The lone bright spot in the week was Smlotz got another win, and is now just two back from Maddux on the all time win list with 321 wins.
The team doctor said Maddux is on pace to rejoin the rotation next week, and will give the Braves the best starting lineup in baseball.
Hopefully Verlander gets over the yips and turns back into the stud closer he was last year. 0-2 and 1 save for the week is the worst week any Brave closer has ever had as far as the almanacs can tell.
