Braves 4/25-5/2
A better showing than last week the braves went four and two, but are still 5 games back from Washington. John Smoltz went 1-1 for the week and is now four and two on the season, one game back from the all time win total. John might start to be showing his age, as he got shellacked at home by the Rockies, giving up 8 runs in under 6 innings.
Archi is also looking kinda old at the plate, only batting .207, but his air apparent, Sanchez is only batting .132. Hard for the Skipper to be justified to sit the aging Archi when the replacement is worse.
Ojeda is the bright spot of the Atlanta order, with 7 dingers and 21 ribbees, he alone is trying to make up for an extremely woeful Braves offense.
Thankfully the Braves played the Mets to start the week to get three of their four wins. Thankfully this coming week Maddux will be returning to the lineup.
