Time to see what it looks like in the AL after the second month of the season.
East
Baltimore went 16 – 12 for the month and while it was not as good as the opening month, with the rest of the East already packing it in, the Oriels look to be set to easily walk away with the AL east Pennant. Kerry Wood and RA Dickey are a combined 13-2 for the birds, and with pitching like that. It is no wonder they are in first.
Central
Deer gawd the Twinks are on FIRE. 24 – 4 in May, and are just killing everyone. They started the season 13 – 7 and since then have gone 30 – 4! Cleveland had looked to be making the WC interesting but after being 28 – 19, they have gon on a 7 game losing streak and now are just barely above playing 500 ball.
West
Seattle is walking away, looking to prove they were not a fluke last year.
