In order to efficiently run expansion, I am going to need help with verifying the Protection Lists.
The job will entail the following:
* Ensure each team has provided a list
* Ensure each team has appropriately added the auto-protected players via draft
- This would involve checking for players traded/waived/released
* Ensure that the expansion draft pool is correct when Commish releases list
* Assisting Commish with Expansion Draft
I will reward the volunteer with 30 points for each Expansion Draft.

And as per usual, I prefer anyone not yet with a volunteering position to volunteer for this position; however, it will not be a hard rule since I know this will only happen every once in a while---it just so happens it will be 2 years in a row (1961 and 1962) to start.

Only issue I see is whether there will be any conflict of interests when I take over the Royals for their expansion. To me, it seems like an efficient use of time as I will be the most interested in those lists anyway for that round of expansion. Thoughts?

You mean when you do your protection list for the O's while getting ready for picking for the Royals? If so then that's something I have to oversee, making sure the interests of the O's are protected. But ya you'll be most interested in the necessary tasks when prepping for the Royals. I have no problem with that. |
