Cleo’s prognostications AL edition 2007
Welcome welcome to Ms Cleo’s hotline of 2007 predictions of the AL, this you know is where the answers to the burning questions will be found. Who will go to the postseason.
In the East Boston looks to take some old Angels under their wings to steal the East from the wings of the Oriels, but is this really what will happen? What we know for sure is the Yankees wont finish above 500, and the Rays will help everyone else win with less than 50 wins. There is much turbulence ahead for the Oriels if they wish to repeat, alas Ms Cleo shows that their reign atop the East has ended after one season and Boston has bought their way to the top.
In the Central Kansas City has finally arrived and will be making the playoffs. It’s a bit murkey, but it looks like as the WC and Minnesota will be the winner in the Central. Detroit will have a pretty great year, but will fall shy of the 105 wins it will take to make the playoffs in the AL. Chicago will have around 70 wins, and Cleveland will avoid a 100 loss season. There is NO WAY the WC doesn’t come out of the AL Central.
Out in the AL West, Seattle will win it and would do so by winning 81. Only Texas could challenge them for an above 500 season, but there is no way Texas wins more than 88, but more likely 80 at most. Sadley for the Oakland fans, their team will neither win 81 nor will it qualify for a good draft pick. The Angels are just ass, and at best hope to not be disqualified from the lotto.
So there you have it baseball fans, MS Cleo has given you the low down and dirty for the 2007 season for the AL, it’ll be Boston, Twinks, Royals and the mariners (not cause they are good, just cause the rest stink more then 10 day old dead fish left in the sun).
Remember folks, when you win big in vegas, send me a percentage of the winnings!
